What conditions does Trumediq treat?

We specialize in:

We also treat related conditions (like adjustment disorders), but not everyone is a fit for virtual treatment. Trumediq can’t take on complex conditions requiring in-person care, such as eating disorders and schizophrenia.

Can I get an estimate of my visit cost?

The best way to get a detailed estimate of your cost is to contact your insurance company directly, since your cost will depend on the details of your coverage.

For some, it’s just a copay. If you have an unmet deductible, it could be more.

How does Trumediq compare to face-to-face treatment?

For most patients, Trumediq treatment is just as effective as in-person psychiatry, and much more convenient. That said, we don’t currently provide treatment for schizophrenia, primary eating disorder treatment, or Medication Assisted Treatment for substance use disorders.

What if I don’t want to take medication?

If you’re not open to taking medication right now, Trumediq might not be the right fit for you. That’s because medication combined with supportive therapy is often the best way to address the conditions we treat.

 

What kind of treatment does Trumediq provide?

At Trumediq, we specialize in psychiatry, meaning the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions. Your psychiatrist will meet with you virtually on a schedule you set together, devise a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and preferences, and work with you to adjust your plan as you meet your goals.

If your treatment plan includes medication, your psychiatrist will prescribe and manage it. If needed, your psychiatrist can also refer you to a Trumediq therapist.

How do I know if Trumediq can help me?

If you don’t know your diagnosis, you might be confused about whether we can help. Trumediq is best for people who are struggling with mild or moderate mental health issues that are getting in the way of day-to-day life. We likely aren’t a good fit for people with severe symptoms requiring in-person supervision.

Does Trumediq provide therapy?

If you already have a Trumediq psychiatrist, they can refer you to one of our therapists if you’d like. However, you can’t see a Trumediq therapist if you aren’t already seeing one of our psychiatrists.
