Is insomnia always caused by anxiety?
No. Stress and anxiety can contribute, but medications, medical conditions, other sleep disorders, and routines may also play a role.
Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia is a structured treatment focused on sleep-related thoughts and behaviors. It is commonly recommended first for chronic insomnia. Ask our team about availability or referral options.
Medication is not automatic. Your clinician will discuss benefits, risks, and alternatives based on your situation.

Not everyone does. Symptoms suggesting another sleep disorder may lead to a referral to a sleep specialist or further testing.
